Almost two weeks has past since my mom and I's three generation vacation, I am still reminiscing in it...
In a one word summary, our girls trip to San Antonio: AWESOME.
It was the first real "vacation" mom and I had taken together. Ever.. And to make it sweeter, a three generation vacation when you include Elyse.
I wish I had taken my real camera for it because all the fun we experienced could have been better documented. Oh well! Even if it was just with my iPhone, my mom and I were able to get a couple of keeper shots to put in here.
The week flew by but it was all about the river walk, sea world, health food, running and shopping. It was one of the most spontaneous road trips I have ever taken. We had such a good time! We even got to take a pits on the way out to see a friend: Lacey and Shammah!
I really hope you enjoy this very belated blog a much as mom and I enjoyed experiencing it.
Another blog to follow of our finale from Altus... Coming VERY soon, since I'll be out of here by tomorrow evening (Yikes!). Lots to do!
Blessings-- xoxo
I have created this blog primarily for God's glory. Through this gift of networked writing, I am learning through my reflected writings, loved one's comments, and all the still framed moments how to daily run hard in our unstructured life. One saturated in inspiring purpose and passion for our Lord. The result is shared in a mere posting; a taste for our readers of all the richness He pours into our lives daily.

Catching up!!
I have been really behind on keeping you all on what has been going on in our lives compared to how good I had been in in March.
Oh well.
There's still time!
Quick catch up: we spent Easter with the long-missed Brett, Michelle, and Elias Bell! They were so kind to let us come down like they did-- so last minute and Brett just got back from deployment, but they had us over nevertheless-- and we had a great time spending our Saturday night talking over coffee, packing full the plastic easter eggs for the kids, Sunday cooking together, yummy healthy food to die for and, as always, Brett had the black yumminess brewing and hot in the pot... All the time. How great! Easter service was incredible as well. Brought reality and eternity all into the same tangible realm for humanity as we face each everyday, all from different angles in our walks through life. Healthy or bacon-drenched (though I'd probably prefer the first), we are God's created and life really does have purpose, the way it was intended to be lived ( i have more to write about that, as I mentioned before, but until then, dwell in that thought of intentionality). It was a great reminder of life and rebirth and it was ended in loud sing (trust me, my healing eardrums are still singing praises to Jesus!) and symbolic rebirth by water dedications.
We left the next Adventure the following weekend: Dallas with our Uncle, Aunt and cousins then... Off to San Antonio with my mama!
We really enjoyed spending time with our dear friends and this past week, its been family (equably enjoyable!!). I look forward to posting these pictures/post so i can start editing the next posting for the latest adventure!
Until then... ;) xoxo
